The C Faithfuness Herd
In 2009, Gabriel went on a mission tip to Costa Rica. There he worked with Mission Challenge and Goats for God. Upon returning, he asked Dawn, "What do you think of getting a couple goats?" From that yes, the Lord has led our family on a great adventure.
Our herd consists of Lamanchas. We show them around the state and use their amazing milk to make cheese, yogurt, and more. Our children work hard taking care of them and training them. That hard work has paid off as Isabel and Melina have won Champion of Champions at the Florida State Fair many times, with Isabel winning overall and serving as a State Fair Ambassador her junior and senior years.

The Babies
There is nothing quite as snuggly as a sweet, baby goat! Our children help with all aspects of care of our herd but especially love kidding season. From sitting with the mamas during delivery to bottle feeding, to running in goat races, the two-legged kids immensely love spoiling the precious four-legged ones.
The Fairs
Our children work hard taking care of the goats and training them. We have shown around the state and at the Florida State Fair for over fifteen years. Each year, the children work hard training the goats, studying the skill-a-thon material, and preparing for the competition.
Their hard work has paid off and they have been very successful. Not only have they won many first place trophies, scholarships, and champion ribbons, Isabel and Melina have both won the Champion of Champions at the Florida State Fair multiple times. In addition, Isabel won 2nd and 5th overall Champion of Champion and served as a State Fair Ambassador her junior and senior year of high school.
The Pastures
The goats forage freely on our pasture daily. They are fed a specialty grain blend and given hay at night.
